Shabby Chic End Tables In Old White

One more project done and ready to go to our space this week! These shabby chic end tables were painted in Old White, distressed then sealed with a clear coat of wax. We like the handles but are considering replacing them with hooded pulls...hmmm.

Charming Chevet In Paloma and Arles

This darling side table exterior was painted in Paloma, the interior in Arles then given a coat of clear wax. The colors sort of remind me of sherbert ice cream, my fav! I want to keep this one but my business partner and wonderful mother in-law keeps telling me "No bonding"...so this piece will find its way to our space next week.

Please excuse the bad pic, I get so anxious to paint I keep forgetting to take a before pic!

Antibes Green Side Table

Been working on this simple side table this evening...but forgot to take a before picture! It was all wood prior to painting it with Antibes Green. After distressing it with the waxes I lightly white washed the top and body. I love the way it turned out but now need to decide on a drawer pull...guess we'll have to sleep on this one.

Here's the updated look with the handle we chose!

Dresser in Paris Grey

After some coats of paint, this dresser is hardly recognizable from it's before picture. We used ASCP in Paris Grey, applied clear wax then painted the knobs and handles white. It's hard to believe we painted right over the laminate top without priming. I have the same style of furniture in my bedroom and am considering painting them the same way!

Aubusson Blue Entry Table

Another one of our favorite ASCP colors used to refresh an entry/sofa table. We chose this piece because we loved the curves and useful drawer space. We painted with Aubusson Blue, applied the clear and dark waxes, distressed along the legs and drawer edges, then painted the handles in Graphite. I wonder where this little beauty will find its home...hope you enjoy.

Location Opening Planned For September 1st!

We are excited to announce that we will be moving into a space in downtown Visalia by September 1st. We've been busy little bees discovering unique pieces to refurbish with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and our husbands will be happy when our living rooms, garages and patios are no longer overtaken by furniture! Over the next week we will be posting items that will be for sale in our space along with the paint, and paint accessories. We will also be offering paint workshops for all of you that would like to learn any of Annie's six paint techniques, this paint is the best in the world! The paint comes in 32 oz. or 4 oz. samples sizes so until then, if you have any questions or would like to purchase some just give us a call or email us.

Table Makeover

We absolutely love how this potting bench turned out! Although it was in shambles we saw the potential so it was decided to give this table new life. After piecing it back together with new hardware, it was painted in a mix of Antibes Green, Arles and Chateau Grey. This would be the perfect side table to add pop to any room!

Boys Furniture Painted AS Napoleonic Blue

How do you think Napoleonic Blue came out for this little boys bedroom furniture? I think it's the perfect color and it only took a few hours to paint. I applied it with a brush and although you could see the strokes when wet, it dried flat. Although this paint is ideal for distressing with dark wax, it looks just as good when used as a solid color. Endless possibilities! Mary I hope Beaux likes the new additions to his room!
