French Topography Art and Coco

Coco has been one of our favorite colors but we've been waiting for the right piece to use it on. Combined with this french topography art, it's now a unique treasure. The words translate to "Drink chocolate with your breakfast, product without rival". It was used at a bridal show for a Candy Bar, very fitting!

Graphite Numbered Dresser

This dresser had clean lines and solid structure so Graphite seemed to be fitting. I'm attracted to anything with numbers so decided to do the dresser in this style. I darkened the Graphite with black acrylic paint then applied dark wax. I love the bronze effect of the dark wax!

Good Goods

Have you ever been to Good Goods? If you have then you know it's our areas best kept secret for all vintage lovers alike! Although, their customers visit from as far as Ventura and Sacramento areas. I've been a regular at this treasure box for years. It's where I go for inspiration for home repurposing ideas or simply to take a break to "ooh" and "aah" with a warm coffee in hand. The owners are lovely and custom make their pieces or expertly purchase their merchandise from repurposing vendors. They have three buildings filled with their carefully selected and merchandised items. A charming two-room water tower, a victorian home and a huge rustic barn. If you have not discovered this vintage wonderland, I encourage you to do so the next chance you get. They are located at 30924 Road 168 in Visalia. You would take the Farmersville Blvd exit from the 198 and head north.

Here's a sneak peek of some of their rooms but there's so much more to see. We hope you enjoy!

Distressed Dresser Fit For a Princess

This was one of those finds that I envisioned flanking our studio windows. I wasn't sure at first what style to paint it but in the end I think we got it right. The distressed finish, the mixed Provence-Aubusson-Antibes Green drawers and crystal knobs are fit for a princess!
